Kindergarten:

Drip! Drop! Water Does Not Stop!
"Each individual uses approximately 50 gallons of water in our homes each day." What does that mean? Is that too much? Where does that water come from? How much water is there for us to use? Is water an infinite or finite resource?
Join us in discovering the answers to these and other questions as we travel the "globe" in search of fresh water; experiment with evaporation and condensation; model how much water is "50 gallons;" take a Journey of a Rain Drop; and begin to note our current water use behaviors and how we might be able to live the "water saving way."

First Grade:
Here I Go 'Round My Watershed!
How does the hydrologic cycle work and what is a watershed anyway?
Join us as we travel the "globe" in search of water where we live; become Watershed Watchers; create a wearable version of the Hydrologic Cycle; and experiment with real time transpiration and evaporation.
Second Grade:
Now You See It - Now You Don't!
So, where does water come from and where does it go once we use it? If water can be recycled, how is it possible that it can be "wasted;" and what is the meaning of water conservation?
Join us as we travel through The Water Cycle and around the school to identify answers to these and a variety of other questions dealing with the concept of water conservation and experimenting with water treatment.
Third Grade:
Name That Surface Water!
Did you know that there are different types of surface water? And that each one plays a role in both the quality as well as the quantity or amount of our water supply?
Join us as we identify our Watershed Address, experiment with creating lakes, reservoirs and wetlands and following a community of Watershed Watchers who turned a Wasteland into a Wetland in their own community.
Fourth Grade:
So, what is an aquifer anyway?
So, what is an aquifer anyway? And what is the importance of groundwater conservation?
Let's find out together as we follow the path that water takes from Streets to Streams and then create and experiment with our own in-class aquifer!
Fifth Grade:
What-A-Shed!
Have you ever wondered what a watershed is, and what makes up a local one versus the global watershed?
Well come along with us as we find out where we live in our watershed and experiment with how each of us impacts the amount of water to be found there. We will also follow the Waters to the Sea to a greater Understanding of Watersheds.
